About eMafundi

Good work starts with the right connection

eMafundi connects customers with independent fundis, workshops and technical-service businesses in Tanzania. Search by the work you need and location, compare the information available and make a clear agreement before work begins. The platform brings discovery and service records together rather than replacing the provider’s professional responsibility.

One account, different roles

Every approved user can be a customer. A user can apply to provide services, claim an eligible business listing and participate in authorized workspaces without creating another identity. Providers may offer several skills across categories and operate multiple physical service centres with separate staff permissions.

Free for customers; useful tools for providers

Customers do not pay eMafundi to search, request quotations, follow work or access their service records. Providers can choose optional paid business tools, sponsored visibility and funded communications. A workshop can manage walk-in or phone customers as well as online requests, including jobs, tasks, appointments and quotations. No payment buys a fabricated review or professional qualification.

Honest coverage and continuous improvement

The catalogue includes 34 trade groups, from everyday repairs to specialist technical work. National coverage grows through real provider registration and reviewed, legally usable sources. Some districts or specialties may have no published provider yet. Approximate map locations and unclaimed listings are labelled; we do not create fictional fundis to fill empty results.
