Directory, Claims and Data Sources
Types of record
A registered provider is an approved account representing a person or business. A public unclaimed listing is a reviewed business listing whose platform ownership has not yet been verified. A research candidate is private and must not be advertised as a verified provider. Directory coverage counts must distinguish these states. Multiple service centres share one owning provider identity; cross-listed skills must not create fake extra providers.
Sourcing and publication
We accept provider submissions, authorized business imports, partnerships and sources whose permitted use has been reviewed. An online mention is not automatic consent or a licence to copy a directory, reviews or images. Each candidate retains a source URL, review date, geography confidence and rights decision. Personal contacts or exact home coordinates must not be automatically exposed. A minimum coverage target is a research goal, never permission to invent entries.
Claiming your business
Sign in to a customer account and use the listing’s claim action. Supply evidence of your authority; do not send passwords or a full ID document in a public comment. We may request verification through a business-controlled channel or additional evidence. Conflicting claims require human review. A successful claim does not erase source history or automatically verify every professional qualification.
Locations and service areas
A map pin may be an approximate region, district or ward centre rather than a workshop’s doorway. Approximate locations must be labelled. Exact coordinates are shown only when suitably authorized. Administrative boundaries and names can change, and the current seed includes historical records. Report an incorrect district/ward rather than assuming the map is a cadastral or legal-boundary record. A provider’s travel coverage is distinct from its physical centres.
Correction, removal and appeals
A business or affected individual can ask to correct, hide or remove information through Contact, selecting the directory or privacy category. Include the listing URL and the issue, with only the evidence necessary. We check identity when needed, record the decision and consider applicable recordkeeping obligations. Do not pay an unrelated intermediary who promises deletion or a verified badge. You can request human reconsideration of a disputed claim or removal decision.
